May.9th in Sakhalin

Yesterday marked the 81st Victory Day Anniversary. Here in Sakhalin we assembled at the town center for the annual celebration, followed by a march through the city streets. It was a grey, low cloud, cold day to start, but by day's end it was sunny and beautiful. A very typical Spring Sakhalin day.
