Typical murals found in Sakhalin
There are many murals to be seen across the city. If you look carefully as you pass through the streets, you will see certain walls of apartment blocks have been embellished with beautiful art depicting scenes of history, animals in their habitat, or sometimes heroic scenes of bravery.
